Mac & cheese is such a holiday tradition – so delicious and satisfying. This super easy mac & cheese is made entirely in the instant pot, so there are no extra pots and no need for the oven. It is so easy to make and incredibly delicious. If you don’t have an instant pot, you can still make this recipe. Complete instructions are below. What is your favorite holiday side dish?

¾ teaspoon Ground Mustard Seed
2 teaspoons Pink Salt
1 teaspoon Black Pepper
½ teaspoon Garlic Powder
3 tablespoons Butter
4 cups Filtered Water
½ cup Whipping Cream (or heavy cream, milk, or half and half)
4 ounces Monterey Jack Cheese
4 ounces Gouda Cheese
3 ounces Manchego Cheese
4 ounces Sharp Cheddar Cheese
1 pound Pasta (small shells, ziti, or any other pasta with a traditional cooking time of 9-11 minutes)

1. Add pasta, water, butter and dried spices to the instant pot and stir. Make sure pasta is submerged in water. Ensure silicone ring is on, and close the lid. Set INSTANT POT to HIGH PRESSURE to 3 minutes. Shred all the cheese. When it is finished, allow 3 minutes of natural pressure and then do a quick release.
2. Stir the pasta, and then add the whipping cream and cheese and stir until melted. Enjoy!

1. Bring a large pot to boil. Add a pinch of salt, then add pasta. Cook until done. Drain water, reserving a half of cup. Return pasta to the pot and over low heat, add the butter, dried spices, whipping cream, reserved water and the shredded cheese. Stir constantly until cheese is melted then remove from heat. Enjoy!

Start by adding our pasta to the instant Pot and pouring the water right on top I'm using shells you can use other kinds Of pasta I'll leave a list of ones I Recommend down below and I'm gonna place The butter right on top and then we're Gonna add our dried spices and some Ground mustard I bought this mustard as A seed and I ground it myself and my Spice grinder but you can buy it pre Ground so we're just gonna add it in and Then we're gonna stir everything Together I know there is a lot of Controversy over stirring or not Stirring guys I have never had a problem Doing it this way Then we're gonna make sure our silicone Ring is on close the lid we're gonna set It to high pressure for three minutes That's right just three minutes now it's Time to grab our cheese I'm using four Different kinds of cheeses I highly Recommend shredding your cheese fresh It's going to give you the absolute best Results however if you We do not have the time to do that make Sure you're getting a combination of Different cheeses pre-shredded it will Give you the best results so I'm using Monterey Jack sharp cheddar agooo de and A manchego cheese you use any kind of Cheese you like I highly recommend Varying the flavor profile and if you Can't find manchego cheese you can also

Use something like pecorino romano That's very similar and it adds such a Great flavor your instant pot should Take somewhere between five and ten Minutes to come to pressure mine took Five minutes and as soon as it's Finished cooking we're gonna allow three Minutes of natural pressure and then We're gonna perform a quick release You're gonna see how messy this is gonna Get I highly recommend using a paper Towel like I eventually put here it Helps as soon as the pin drops it's safe To open this pasta is cooked absolutely Perfect the three minutes of natural Pressure helped the pasta to finish Cooking so that's a very important step Then I'm adding the whipping cream you Can use heavy cream you can use Half-and-half and then the shredded Cheese I did not have to turn this on Saute the cheese melted by the residual Heat this is a great time to taste your Pasta and see if it needs any salt and Pepper I did add a little bit of salt And some pepper you add as much or as Little as you like I did not have to add Any thickeners to this no corn starch no Tapioca starch the texture was Absolutely perfect so here I am plating It up look at this macaroni it looks Absolutely delicious perfect topped it With some fresh parsley guys you're Gonna absolutely love this recipe
